Flying Colors Sports is proud to present the GREAT AMAZING RACE series which supports the 30-MINUTES-A-DAY family initiative.  A national program that encourages parents to be a good ROLE MODEL and participate in three daily home activities that have the power to improve a student's academic performance and quality of life: eat healthy, read books and exercise daily.

Teams that have qualified for the National Championship are encourage to go to Registration Page and submit form right away.  There is a 100 team max for each race.  Official Race Site: www.GreatAmazingRace.com.

WHAT:
Patterned after the popular television show "THE AMAZING RACE", teams of two race against other teams around a 1.5 mile cross country course that includes up to ten fun-filled challenges. The clue cards instructs the contestants to complete a task (game, relay, obstacle course, etc.) before proceeding to the next challenge. The team that completes the challenges and arrives at the finish line with the fastest overall time is declared the winner. Contestants should be prepared to get a little dirty and wet - it's part of the fun! This is a rain or shine event.

     > Time Saver Tokens can be purchased at any time prior to start of the race. Teams will receive a 1 minute deduction for every additional $10.00 submitted (up to 4 minutes).   

WHO: Only for teams that qualified at a previous 2013 Great Amazing Race.  At least one member from the original team must be on the roster. Other racer can be substituted at a later date or on race day. Race is designed for teams of 2 (adult & kids).   

PRICING: Team entry fee includes National Championship T-Shirt and Victory Party Tickets. All spectators must purchase a Victory Party pass ... which includes admission onto the course, food & drinks.  

> RACE TEAM ENTRY FEE: $60.00 per team 
> TIME SAVER TOKENS: 1 minute deduction for every $10.00 submitted (up to 4 minutes)
> SPECTATOR VICTORY PARTY per Person: $10.00 Early / $15.00 at Race                                          > SPECTATOR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP T-SHIRT: $15.00 Early / $20.00 at Race 

Active duty, reserves and retired - military. law enforcement, fire (including spouses) — receive a 50% discount per team entry fee. Please note branch in the comments box.

AWARDS:  The $2,000 Grand Prize will be awarded to the winning team at each race. Special awards will be given to the top finalists in each division (determined by grade of youngest team member): Grades 1-4 Division and Grades 5 & Older Division.  The awards will be presented at the Victory Party.
