WHAT:
Patterned
after the popular television show "THE AMAZING RACE", teams
of two race against other teams around a 1.5 mile cross country
course that includes up to ten fun-filled challenges. The clue
cards instructs the contestants to complete a task (game, relay,
obstacle course, etc.) before proceeding to the next challenge. The
team that completes the challenges and arrives at the finish line
with the fastest overall time is declared the winner. Contestants
should be prepared to get a little dirty and wet - it's part of the
fun! This is a rain or shine event.
> Time Saver Tokens can be purchased at any time prior to start of the race. Teams will receive a 1 minute deduction for every additional $10.00 submitted (up to 4 minutes).
WHO: Only for teams that qualified at a previous 2013 Great Amazing Race. At least one member from the original team must be on the roster. Other racer can be substituted at a later date or on race day. Race is designed for teams of 2 (adult & kids).
PRICING: Team entry fee includes National Championship T-Shirt and Victory Party Tickets. All spectators must purchase a Victory Party pass ... which includes admission onto the course, food & drinks.

duty, reserves and retired - military. law enforcement, fire (including spouses) — receive

AWARDS: The $2,000 Grand Prize will be awarded to the winning team at each race. Special awards will be given to the top finalists in each division (determined by grade of youngest team member): Grades 1-4 Division and Grades 5 & Older Division. The awards will be presented at the Victory Party.
