VICTORY PARTY: immediately following RACE (includes food & drinks)
WHAT: Patterned after the popular television show "THE AMAZING RACE", teams of two race against other teams around a 1.5 mile cross country course that includes up to ten (10) fun-filled challenges. The clue cards instructs the contestants to complete a task (game, relay, obstacle course, etc.) before proceeding to the next challenge. The team that completes the challenges and arrives at the finish line with the fastest overall time is declared the winner. Contestants should be prepared to get a little dirty and wet - it's part of the fun! This is a rain or shine event.
> Fast Forward Tokens: Fast Forward tokens (aka. Time Savers) can be purchased at any time prior to start of the race. Teams will receive a 1 minute deduction for every additional $10.00 submitted (up to 4 minutes).
> Spectators: Spectators are welcome to tag along for free and take photos for the scrapbook.
WHO: Only for teams that qualified at a previous 2012 Great Amazing Race. At least one member from the original team must be on the roster. Race is designed for teams of 2 (adult/kid, kid/kid or adult/adult), kid is defined as kindergarten through 12th grade.
PRICING: Team entry fee includes National Championship T-Shirt and Victory Party BBQ Tickets. At least one member from the original team must be on the roster. All spectators must purchase a Victory Party pass ... which includes admission on the course, food & drinks.

AWARDS: The $2,000 Grand Prize will be given to the winning team. Special awards will be given to the top finalists in each division (determined by grade of youngest team member): Grades K-6 Division and Grades 7th & Older Division. The awards will be presented at the Victory Party.
